For those who are interested in the cost of x-ray I asked about...

It was 135 dollars for the visit with a physicians assistant and the x-ray and the splint.

There is a hairline fracture in the"distal L ulna," by the way. Not sure what that means.

But not really bad. Glad to hear you'll be ok and that sounds pretty reasonable to me. I once paid 150 for one of those places to tell me clavicle was broken (brought my own x-ray a lab tech friend did for me) and give me a sling. Was there about ten minutes.
