Report: Hillary Clinton Backs Obama On Syria Strike

Report: Hillary Clinton Backs Obama On Syria Strike

Although she may be out of office, count former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in favor of a "targeted response" to Syria.

An aide to the possible 2016 presidential contender told Politico Tuesday that Clinton "supports the President’s effort to enlist the Congress in pursuing a strong and targeted response to the Assad regime’s horrific use of chemical weapons."

was her cheerleading of the Iraq War. And here she is again! Jesus woman, get a clue.

I'll hold my nose and vote for her if she's our candidate, but this REALLY makes me want to have someone to her left run.

intelligence community controls all levels of our government.

Unfortunately, the present and future President are no different.

What I don't understand is Turkey not getting involved, if anything they are next door from
Syria, why not let them take the lead on this one, why should America always be at the forefront.

sounds like war. I do know that whether they call it targeted airstrikes or military intervention. it make weapons manufacturers richer at the expense of human lives. Isn't their a more effective way of dealing with Assad?? And if we do nothing does it make us vulnerable to a Sarin type weapon??? Is the Sarin gas easily manufactured??? Would destroying their facilities stop them from producing nerve gas? Are they purchasing it from other Countries??? I have a gazillion questions and not a whole lot of answers. this is really confusing. and yes I have seen the children. Which is truly heartbreaking. They have not asked to be put into this god forsaken place. And those unknown casualties of those targeted airstrikes, are we making enemies of potential friends. Everyone in Syria isn't like him. Just as we all are different and think differently, so do they. And the thousands of refugees spilling into other Countries unwelcome. this is a fucked up scenario. Or do we pay like we are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan???? I wish Former Secretary of State Clinton could negotiate this one. because anyway you look at it, its still a hot mess.

In the US, there is basically one party - the business party. It has two factions, called Democrats and Republicans, which are somewhat different but carry out variations on the same policies. By and large, I am opposed to those policies. As is most of the population.

It amazes me that these people so gung-ho for dropping more bombs in the ME haven't learned a damn thing from the last 10 years. But then, when perpetual war for the MIC and gaining and controlling strategic interests are the true goals ..... each and every civil war is really just a golden opportunity.

I thank what gods there are that she is no longer in the Senate and pray to them that she never sees the inside of the White House again.

Hillary Clinton thought she had driven a stake through it, but it turns out to be the issue that will not die: She voted to authorize the Iraq war, she refuses to say it was a mistake, and she refuses to apologize for it.

And Barack Obama continues to whack her for it.

Obama opposed the war early and was lucky enough to not yet be a senator when it first came up for a vote.

Many of us voted for Obama over her because we thought he was less likely to bomb somebody.

Dem voters need to wake the hell up and nominate a Democrat next time.
