I just cant find it. Its gotta be around here someplace, but darned if I know where. Maybe youve seen it.
You know, THE BOOK OF DEMS. Not the old one, the new one. The one with
all the rules and regulations and definitions. Apparently I fall short in all areas, so I need to consult THE BOOK in order to understand how to correct my thinking. Honest, I havent meant to violate the rules, I just didnt realize that there are new parameters that MUST be respected or else.
If you are one of those who have a copy of THE BOOK close at hand, please be good enough
to share its contents with the rest of us. We really do want to be good!

At least that is what my personal experience has been these past 5 years.

(4,458 posts)but I am still a Dem at heart-just not in membership.
The party has changed so much-toward the right-in the past 40 years, I cannot in good conscience endorse them anymore. By "them"-I mean the leadership.
The Dem party resembles the GOP from the '60's.
I didn't agree with the GOP then and I can no longer support todays "third way/new dem coalition".
Dems I know in local county politics-Dems on "main street" are still the same, but-should they try to question anything from the top-they likely, like I experienced, will not be heard. After trying, first with the local state party leaders-then national-DSCC/DNC/DCCC and finally understanding they don't care?
That was it. It took about 5 years for me to get the hint...it's not like I didn't try.
They need serious help with out reach, PR and addressing concerns like I and many others do share.

(23,720 posts)for some reason I read your post as a complaint of the website, not the Democratic party.
