http://www.democraticunderground.com/10023608445 Or the Alan Grayson who lost a winnable race by using half a sentence of his opponent -when the full sentence changed the meaning 100% in an ad?

There are good people against going to war - Chris Murphy and Udall - for two. Alan Grayson is using this - like he has used anything else.

Did he use the Daily Caller to trash Obama? Yes

Did he make a sleazy campaign ad that intentionally distorted a comment his right wing opponent made - undeniably You don't cut out half a sentence and use it when the full sentence means the opposite. I hated this when the Republicans used this to smear Democrats and I can't defend it when Democrats do it.

these are the ONLY things I have said that are negative about Grayson. I have seen many lies used against Obama and Kerry - I guess that it is ok, but unpleasant truths about Grayson aren't.

The stories that he had a face lift in the last month (the time of the time of the picture used for contrast) ignore that he has not been out of the public eye for more than 2 or maybe 3 days in a row.

Better explanation, in addition to the stress of being SoS - which made Hillary look really bad at times, he was dealing with a sudden, very serious medical event that Teresa had in early July. A huge part of him looking better, is likely that she seems much better.

As to the WP claim that his face looks somehow wider - easiest explanation - he gained some weight - and he needed it.

The fact is Kerry looks very good for someone approaching 70 - and he was never Robert Redford or Paul Newman handsome.

As to Grayson, I have no problem with him dying his hair - if he does. Nor do I think how one looks is important. I do have a problem with him using RW smear tactics in an ad and using the Daily Caller as a source now,

It looks like a combination of lighting and the fact that he looks like he has gained some (needed) weight. He also has a bit of a tan - maybe from the couple of days when he spent some time on the water. The fact is that he still has lines on his face.

(begged in some accounts) to leave some of his wisdom before withdrawing from the world of human issues.

No, had Vannilla manned the gates there would have been no "Tao Te Ching", there would have been a dead old guy just outside with a spear through his chest and a note saying "this infiltrator hates the Lords of all the warring states! I know what he believes, he does not, he is a barbarian attempting a coup!!!"

A much shorter publication with zero wisdom, signifying absolutely nothing, much like the posts of VR.

I am glad the gatekeeper was who he was and not a self appointed idea cop with delusions of grandeur.

Lao Tzu was likely mythical, but the collection of wisdom ascribed to him has earned the respect of the more thoughtful of us apes for a couple thousand years. (even if he was a Anarchistic doody head)
