(160,525 posts)That's leftover from those fascists who hated him during his Presidential campaign. Sad.
Most unexpected to hear this from any "Democrat" regardless of his/her position on this proposed act of war.

(975 posts)There are some on here that have either lost it or their goal is to tear the Party to shreds with any excuse that comes up. I will defer to the President and SOS when it comes to these matters they have/had more briefings on this subject than the American people have. I still have a lot of faith in this President with all he has had to endure from both the right and the left.

(114,904 posts)when you "defer" to the President on this.
Why think independently at all? Just support whoever is president. After all, whoever is president has more info than you or me.

(975 posts)Didn't think so but you just had to reply huh. I can think quite independently thank you very much. I have since my adulthood. Now on some other posts I made it clear that if Shrub were in charge I would feel differently. However I do have faith in this man unlike those that are trying to tear him and his administration down. Guess that would be you, I am talking about for one.

Don't like it? continue to whine away.
I'm not interested in tearing the President down. I'm interested in stopping his planned military strike.
that simple, hon.

(975 posts)I grabbed your clue, so that means you must be clueless. So do continue being a force for tearing the Party to shreds, yep I can see the good that will come of that. Get it through your head that you can't stop anything. It is the adults that will decide "hon" I don't see you qualifying.

(114,904 posts)here's what it is NOT: A place where YOU get to decide who addresses you.
and guess what? You don't get to decide anything either. Looks like the so-called adults in Congress are opposed to the President's reckless feckless bombing plan.
too bad for all the apologists and bomb fans.

(975 posts)So you have faith in Congress good let's see how that plays out. Now isn't it time you said something like welcome to ignore, or enjoy your stay, or (and I like and endorse this), I guess we are done here. Buy bye. I'll play again when the adults are in the room, children can be so time consuming. Mine are already grown and it's time some on here started acting like grown ups. LOL!

(23,372 posts)He repeated his histrionics to the French, speaking in French. There's nothing wrong with speaking French, but I'm sure that's what this reference is to.

Wanna drop bombs on someone? Learn how to fly, or carry them on your own back
The USA doesn't have a right to drop bombs on innocent Syrian people or kill them with missiles no matter what language John Kerry speaks fluently.

(10,575 posts)ST.-BRIAC-SUR-MER, France Imagine the scene here a year from now if this genteel village enters U.S. history.
On Aug. 15, 2005, President John F. Kerry returns with great fanfare to St.-Briac-sur-Mer, where his parents met and where he spent childhood vacations in a Breton coastal landscape immortalized by Renoir.
Escorted by his cousin, Mayor Brice Lalonde -- a former candidate for the French presidency -- Kerry leads the celebration of the 61st anniversary of the Allied liberation of the village from the Nazis.
Speaking fluent French, Kerry greets crowds filling narrow lanes and a town plaza festooned with flags of both nations. Kerry announces that he has chosen this community of 2,000, a cherished refuge of his globe-trotting family since 1923, to symbolize the rapprochement of the United States and France -- indeed, Europe -- after years of transatlantic tension.
