Another thing to consider...if the Syria strikes measure does pass with GOP votes...

Does anybody think Obama is still going to campaign to replace the GOP house with a Democratic one in 2014? Or will ever introduce any progressive measures at all for the rest of his term?

Wouldn't the guy pretty much feel obligated to surrender to the Right like Clinton did after '94?
