Wicker, Nunnelee to vote against action in Syria
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) Two Republican members of Mississippi's congressional delegation say they will vote against the U.S. taking military action in Syria.
Sen. Roger Wicker and Rep. Alan Nunnelee issued statements Monday.
Wicker, who's a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, says President Barack Obama "has not made a clear case about his strategic or tactical goals" or exhausted diplomatic efforts to mobilize other countries to respond to Syria's use of chemical weapons.
