If Obama thought Assad gassed 1,000 Americans instead of Syrians....

Would he call for Assad to simply give up the rest of his chemical weapons? Or would he call for his incarceration or assassination?

My point: Is the fact that Obama is willing to make a deal...an indication that he knows he can't prove Assad did it?

2. Al Qaeda could have done it, and they'd blame Assad.

It's quite funny that the US government expects the Syrian government to provide iron clad security for these weapons, while it simultaneous attempts to support those doing everything they can to destroy that ability.

How is it that so many seemed vexed, rather than cautiously optimistic?

Suddenly that has evaporated. Moral obligations never subside so quickly -- only bullshit propaganda enjoys that quality. And those of us who rightly resisted the propaganda aren't content to simply allow the peddlers to crawl away after being exposed. They tried to lie us into war -- AGAIN. Add to this the fact we have been called haters, RW trolls, Snowden lovers, Putin lovers, dead baby lovers, etc.

So, yeah, I'm taking a dig or two (hundred) at their faux outrage.

But we all know that Assad has no control over his chemical weapon assets and the rebels gassed their own women and children to get Obama to protect their women and children from Assad's chemical weapons.
