Story About Greedy Banker Who Left ‘1%‘ Tip and ’Get a Real Job’ Message Found to be… Fake

one of my Facebooks friends posted this today, so I went and had a look because I have never heard of this until now. Comments over at the site are just as dumb as this story is...So whats the big damn deal??

the link is to a repuke-teahadist site, never heard of that either until today. It is most likely something the reich-wingers created to amuse themselves because they have nothing else to live for anyway.

That's the problem with getting your information from Twitter and word of mouth--not only do things get wildly exaggerated pretty much all the time, but people continually make shit up. Sometimes to fuck with people they don't like, sometimes to propagandize for people that they do.

People need to learn, Twitter and obscure no-name blogs are NOT news sources.
