Fake Corporate Job Ads To NOT Hire Americans

Corporations and big business are putting in "fake" job ads to screen out Americans so they can hire H1B job applicants. They are being trained by American law firms to learn how to comply with the work visa laws.

This practice is endemic and has been going on for years. It is another labor atrocity that was unleashed starting with Reagan.

When I was at DOL we would have "immigration clearance" orders that were H1B orders. They had to be on the national Employment Service Job Bank System for 30 days then. All the employer would do was make the requirements the same as the foreign national they wanted to hire. Like must speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese. It was bad then. I have been retired 14 years and as far as I am concerned it is worse than ever now. And the GOP wants unlimited H1B work visas.

The shortage of American workers is a complete lie and a myth. American business just won't train an American worker now.

With clearance orders they were written so that NO American worker could possible qualify. And if one did the employer would find a way to DQ them. And we had a lot of them through the years. We had a specialist who adminstered that order system. It was very political.

I have said for 20 years that American business does not want American workers. They cost too much. That is why the US Chamber, big business, conservatives and the GOP are trying to criminalize labor unions and abolish labor laws and minimum wage. And I know from my 24 years at DOL that that is what they are determined to do. And they do want to criminalize collective bargaining.

And the American business community really is pushing for WAGE PARITY with the global economy. You will never hear a politician in the US discuss it. The words "globalized economy" and "competing" IS CODE FOR EQUALIZING AMERICAN PAY WITH THE THIRD WORLD.

That was targetting this issue. They should run this clip or recreate it. It would be very effective.

Another ad would be a family sitting down and talking about a child going to college. The parent could have been replaced by a H1B worker as they discuss whether the child should go into engineering.

(The law being, they have to be able to demonstrate that they placed ads but no American qualified.) This is old news, I thought everyone here would have heard about this by now. Grassley actually wanted to have hearings about the deceptive practice.
