Due to flood damage the 1st Avenue Waste Water Treatment is out of service. The City of Evans is calling a MANDATORY DO NOT FLUSH! Please refrain from all use of the waste water system. Staff anticipates the system to be down for a minimum of 10 days. Please stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

(111,437 posts)and yes, it's pretty horrible. My guess is that they will find an alternative before the treatment plant is repaired.

(5,141 posts)It does still work!
I lived on a houseboat for a few years...every time the mascorator broke--which was often--I wanted to kill myself. One day of non-flushing was torture, I cant imagine 3 days let alone 10. Hope you're right about finding another solution.
