For Americans on food stamps

Dear xxxxxxxx,
This letter is to notify you that food assistance benefits will be decreased for all households in the United States beginning in November 2013. In April 2009, a federal law called the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) authorized a temporary increase in the amount of food assistance a household can receive. Per federal law, the temporary increase ends October 31, 2013, which will cause your food assistance benefits to decrease in November.
Depending on your household size and circumstances, it is estimated that your benefit amount could be reduced by $11 to $36, but it could be more. You should receive a notice about your new monthly benefit amount in late September. We understand the impact this change will have on your household; however, the decrease is required by federal mandate, applies to all households in the United States, cannot be changed or prevented by the State of Colorado and is not subject to appeal.

So, what kind of "thank you" note should I send my congressman for all his time-consuming work on preventing abortion, redefining rape and defunding Obamacare?

What wonderful news.
I really feel pampered and entitled living on my current $109.00 monthly food stamp benefit.
He's getting a whole $13.00/week.
Sickening at best!!!!
