‘God Gave Me The Wisdom To Use Science As A Scientist To Prove Gay Marriage Wrong’ Says Student

Mark Regnerus, step back. You’ve met your match. Chibuihem Amalaha, a post-graduate student at the University of Lagos in Nigeria says he has scientifically proven that same-sex marriage is “wrong.”

But first, a few facts.

Right and wrong, good and bad, evil, etc., are issues of morals — not science. So, Amalaha’s entire premise is stupid.

That said, let’s actually entertain his thoughts:

“In recent time I found that gay marriage, which is homosexuality and lesbianism, is eating deep into the fabric of our human nature all over the world and this was why nations of Sodom and Gomora were destroyed by God because they were into gay practice. That is, a man marrying another man and a woman marrying another woman.

“A recent publication on May 3, 2013 shows that France is the 14th country in the world that have legalised gay. I asked myself why should a man be marrying a man and a woman marrying a woman, does it mean that there is no more female for a man to marry or there is no more male for a woman to marry? And recently, Britain told Nigeria to legalise gay marriage of forfeit international aid. I thank God for our lawmakers who refused to sign the bill legalising gay marriage. And so God gave me the wisdom to use science as a scientist to prove gay marriage wrong.

“In the area of physics, I used physics with experiments, I used chemistry with experiments, I used biology with experiments and I used mathematics to prove gay marriage wrong.

2. I remember living in Accra, writing a report on local homosexuality and being amazed at the hatred.

While there I did speak to some Nigerians who held beliefs similar to the general Ghanaian population. And those beliefs revolved around the hatred of gay people.

The NGO I worked at put out an all call to the entire country for gay Ghanaians to come forward and speak out. Only ONE person showed up.

Possibly RELIGION!

The brain eating memetic virus that consumes brains all over the planet.

We'll likely not conquer this malady, but it would be very beneficial to the planet if we could treat it as an epidemiologist might do. Treat it so it has markedly less virulence. And less prevalence.

Science and rational thought is the inoculation for religion. Thank god (so to speak).

Once again, proving stupidity comes in all shapes, sizes, and degree holdings.
