it's pretty amazing how it has all unfolded pretty much as he said. His solution was to break up the big banks, make finance a much smaller part of the economy, and lots of other things that most people would say was just common sense, really.
He also had some offbeat solutions, but who doesn't? Still, it's crazy that you still hear about discredited loons like Milton Friedman, but Minsky is rarely mentioned, even though this entire script was predicted by him.

.. and no amount of spin, propaganda and lies will make one appear.

This is the new normal. Get used to it because it is not going away given that there are only a tiny handful of pols in DC that give a rat's ass about it.
