Per yahoo.com 5th person found dead in Colorado

the body of a 60 year old woman has just been found a short while ago.

1. I expected that she was lost... So sad...

I surely hope we don't find much more of that when those isolated mountain communities are finally canvassed.

2. Yeah, I'm kind of worried though

the number keeps going up and not down and it's been 2 and half days since this happened.

3. I'm afraid the death toll could get much higher. Let's hope not.

There are hundreds of people that are unaccounted for right now.

Hopefully, they're just incommunicado because of downed phone lines and from being blocked due to the destroyed roads, and due to the general chaos of flash-flooding. I hope they're OK.

5. For what it's worth,

a friend of mine was frantic for two days, not hearing from her son in Boulder. Turns out he's fine, just suffering from being 20 years old and not thinking to check in. He now knows he's got a lecture coming.
