So long as there are guns...

America will never run out of nuts.

Today's tragic shooting is just another in the long line of those yet to come.

So long as the American people accept it, it will continue.

There is nothing we can do about it except cross our fingers and hope that the next person shot is not one of our loved ones.

There simply is not the political will to do anything about it.

How many mass bombings. Shit, you should have used Timothy McVeigh for your bombing argument. How many school mass killing by bombing has occurred since 1927?

7. I was replying to a poster who said if there were no guns then 20 kids could not be killed instantly

I showed where they can be. McVeigh was not attacking a school. He was attacking a federal building. I try to compare apples with apples. Nuts will always find a way to do what they want to do. But go ahead and focus on a piece of metal. That will solve the problem I'm sure...

(Insert rationalization here)

12. There is not a solution to every problem.

Is there a solution for a McVeigh who blows up a truck bomb next to the federal facility? Not allow vehicles within five blocks of any government building? Make their walls 20 feet thick with concrete? JFK said a few months before he was killed that anyone could kill a president if that persons was willing to die themselves. That is still true today. If someone is willing to die then almost no measure can stop them from doing extreme harm.

I suppose I think it just isn't a very pointy point. It's more of a bulge or a lump.
