Asked if Snowden still had more secret material that he had not yet handed over, Kucherena said yes without giving any details.

"Yes, undoubtedly. You have to understand that Edward worked quite a long time for the CIA. He is a good specialist. He is a professional" ...

Maybe someone should tell that to President Obama and Bloomberg.

needs security.

Yet he would not get away with such in Russia. When he breaks the law there, he'll be forced to face it.

I suspect you know that. Russia does not have freedom of speech in the American sense -- neither does Canada, England, France, Germany, other EU countries and pretty much every other country in the world. But Russia is not the Soviet Union. There are open opposition newspapers and demonstrations on various topics opposing the government are common.

They were going to give him one.

He can't do the whistleblowing thing there, he'd get arrested. Oh wait. He wouldn't get the chance to flee.

Russians still don't have freedom of speech, not to the extent of the other countries mentioned. Why were Pussy Riot jailed and what of the new LGBT law that limits what people can say?

And those laws now apply to Snowy.

There are hundreds of thousands of youtube videos out there that I could cherrypick and show the U.S. is in some post-Apocalypse state. Russia is doing just fine despite your propaganda.
