You seem completely stuck on the idea of armed revolution. Im not talking about armed revolution. Not in any shape or form.

If any government is ordering the people into a war that the people don't want to fight, they can stop the war by laying down the gun and refusing to fight if the military is mainly a militia style system. When you have large standing armies, this is not possible to do. The government can then go to war with or without the support of the people.
