ROCK HILL, S.C. —Police in Rock Hill say a man was robbed in a cemetery while visiting his deceased girlfriend. WBTV in Charlotte reports that officers were called to a church after a report of an armed robbery.

When they arrived on scene, officers met with a 24-year-old man who had been robbed. The man told officers he was at the cemetery visiting his girlfriend's grave when someone jumped the cemetery fence and approached him with a small silver pistol.

The gunman then demanded the victim give him money.

According to police, the man gave his assailant a $100 bill from his back pocket.
