5. Real news and analysis

There's some very good minds on DU. Educated, many with specific knowledge of what ever the subject. Plus we have thousands of "news antennae" scouring the world media for good journalism, insight and speaking truth to power.

The news from DU, with some critical thinking, tends to be much less propaganda and bullshit than what you find on the alternative, 5 major corporation owned American Main Stream Media.

We get links to valid news outside the bubble from around the world and we've all seen how we always have much more to learn from foreign sources than we do from American. (Not to belittle America's excellent network of liberal journalists)
