The Era of Greed
Many people worship money. They glorify wealth. I got mine, screw you!
They don't have to be that way but they just are.
They don't have to be against food stamps for the poor.
They don't have to be against higher taxes on the wealthy.
They don't have to be against healthcare for everyone.
They don't have to be against a livable minimum wage.
But they are.
We are living in an era where people have little empathy for the needy or the sick, where they covet every penny that is spent on the poor. They have no moral center and are devoid of feelings for their fellow man.
