New investigation on missing DA in Sandusky case

BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) — Police are investigating a tip a missing prosecutor connected to former Pennsylvania State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky's child sex abuse case was killed and dumped in a mine shaft.

Bellefonte police Detective Matthew Rickard says the tip regarding the 2005 disappearance of Centre County District Attorney Ray Gricar (GREE'-kar) is being investigated and the FBI is involved.

If they ever find Gricar it will open up a whole other side to these crimes that have been conveniently ignored.

... that Gricar's disappearance had anything to do with the Sandusky case. According to the article at the linked article from the Centre Daily Times below, the tip came from a former member of Hell's Angels, who has declined to identify the location of the mineshaft because he doesn't want to incriminate himself in other crimes.
