Halloween costumes are starting to appear in stores, but some are creating controversy.
According to the Consumerist, Walmart has started carrying a "Naughty Leopard" toddler costume and a "Devil Diva" suit for very young girls.
However, as the website indicates, it's unclear why the leopard costume bears no resemblance to the wild animal.
For those rushing out to grab one of these unique tiny tot outfits, the Naughty Leopard was spotted in a Walmart store but appears to not be available on the retail giant's website. However the Devil Diva outfit is for sale online for $23.97.

(15,189 posts)It doesn't look like a Leopard, but it's for girls. They should get rid of the word naughty. That is the perversion in this. IMO.

(108,367 posts)The only picture shown is the naughty leopard outfit. Naughty in name only. Nothing risqué about it.
I also clicked on the Wal-Mart link from the srticle and found out likewise about the other costumes.
No one should sexualize children however this is not what is being done here.
