Eric Bolling Fires Back at Bernie Goldberg: Im a Proud Conservative and You Cant Do a Damn Thing About It
Columnist and frequent OReilly Factor commentator Bernie Goldberg fired a shot across the bow at Fox News Eric Bolling today with a hard-hitting column attacking Bolling as a representative of the true-blue conservatives who reject any kind of compromise or moderation. Bolling fired back on The Five today, wondering exactly when being a real conservative was a bad thing.
Bolling read some selections from Goldbergs blistering attack on him.
Ted Cruz is the rookie U.S. senator from Texas who if he worked at Fox News would be Eric Bolling. Like Bolling, Cruz is on a mission. He wants Republicans to stand up for their conservative principles.
Bolling continued, Yeah, and?
He railed against establishment figures like Goldberg for putting a scarlet C on our lapels, telling Goldberg directly that he and the dying breed of old-school Republicans dont understand that this new wave of conservatism is the voice of the future.
Bolling said hes proud to wear his conservatism as a badge of honor, and Goldberg and his nearly-extinct herd of old-school politicians cant do a damn thing about it.
He concluded, Have the establishment hit the lights on the way out.

(182,803 posts)and he looked like a coke dealer with some hot chick to his side. Goldberg, on the other hand, is a never-was "sports journalist" who saw the opportunity to play victim.
I actually sat in a Walmart (while getting an oil change), ate McDonald's (yes McD's IN a Walmart), and read his first book- "Biased" I think it was called. There were no major examples of "liberal bias". Mostly Carol Simpson on ABC News Sunday night, which was a refreshing display of actual journalism, was sighted. He used other examples of mid-day reporting and nothing network examples where he flat out showed his ass. I flipped through the book.....put a McD's French fry in it...and put it back on the Walmart's shelf. About 1997.

(42,558 posts)The one who blamed violence on video games after the Sandy Hook shooting, or the one who asked "Who is the jackass who started pointing the finger at video games?" after the Navy Yard shooting?
This was an excellent Colbert segment.
