Which of these is most politically correct? The Democrat Party or the Democratic Party?

We know that the right wing attempts to minimize the Party by calling it the "Democrat Party" . We prefer to call it the "Democratic Party". Why do we make that distinction??

insult IT and US. Which is why they do it.

It's bullying of a sort, like calling a kid some offensive nickname that he hates, and doing it endlessly.

"Democrat Party" is a childish sneer intended to avoid the positive implications of the term "Democratic?"

Not too complicated.

Each state has a Democratic Party with which citizens can register, the Democratic Party of California, The Democratic Party of Texas, etc.

Nowhere is there a party named "The Democrat Party."

Political Correctness has nothing to do with it. It is the Democratic Party.

"Democrat Party" began as a slur by Republicans.

It is the GOP mindset. It is one of their slur words toward us. I say Dems a lot here as is fitting since We are the Democratic Party. I don't give a fuck what anyone says. That is what political party we belong to.

When you hear the GOP use Democrat it is to slander the nation and democracy more than anything else. Just look at their actions, it is undeniable and also this is why it should not be used by us. There are enough RW memes floating around here already. That one should die.

Hopefully like the GOP party one day.

That's why petty Republicans hate using it.

Thanks for the thread, kentuck.
