As soon as he left the Senate floor, Ted Cruz called the Rush Limbaugh show...

And to listen to the dittoheads, Ted Cruz is the only courageous Republican that is left in Washington.

Talk radio and the Tea Partiers support Ted Cruz wholeheartedly. This is a big problem for the Republican Party.

Ted Cruz is the new Republican star. They cannot afford to throw him overboard to the sharks. They need him and his supporters now more than ever.

But it was interesting to see that the first person he spoke to after leaving the Senate floor was Rush Limbaugh.

&, judging by the embarrassment of his own party, he's holding a big mirror up for them to see themselves.

Maybe this freakshow will come to a head if Cruz is given enough rope.

He's playing to the teapeople in a way that no one ever has before.
This is exactly what they've always wanted and I'm sure they are ecstatic.

The fact that he's so openly bizarre and everyone has turned so completely against him says to me that he is after something that no one quite sees yet.
It may be to become the Republican base hero and as a result get all the primary votes and become the presidential candidate but there may also be something more.

I hope he's just the buffoon that everyone thinks he is but there may be something going on underneath that is hidden so far and it makes me uneasy.
