They are only judged by what they say they want to accomplish.
Apparently achieving their goals is not important to them.
Over and over again they use completely futile and wasteful techniques that are proven to be ineffective and produce no results but this doesn't matter to their oh so important base of pinheads.
As long as they put on a show and prance about parroting mindless dogma they will be reelected.
If a Republican sits down to negotiate and actually gets some of what he wants he will be declaimed as an impure sellout and be replaced by a prancing dogmatist.
It's completely idiotic politics but they seem to be deeply committed to it.
How did half of our country come to ruled by these blithering idiots?

(6,931 posts)These people are sent to Washington to be obstructionists, to bloviate and call attention, and to make sure that nothing gets done under a Democratic administration. For the most part, the people who sent them there consider that an accomplishment.

The hate is that strong in them.
We are not dealing with sane or rational people in any way shape or form how can one even be remotely reasonable with people who goal is to kill you?
Negotiating with Pubs is a fools errand, destroying them and marginalizing them and their supporters is the best course of action now, anything else is a total waste of time.
