Honestly, Obamacare really isn't even that much of a change.

If Obamacare goes forward (and it looks like it will), health insurance companies will continue to suck. The main difference that I see is that they will suck a little less (they won't be able to cut you off when you get sick, or impose a lifetime cap) and as many as 30 million more people will learn first hand that health insurance companies suck.

But the only thing that sucks worse than dealing with a health insurance company is trying to get proper care if you have no health insurance -- unless, of course, if you are able to pay cash, which most people aren't. So, I guess that's progress.

And THAT is what passes for "socialism" in this country.

I wish I could give medicare to everyone. I do hope I live long enough to see the conniption when we do get single payer.
