With all this talk about ObamaCare and 2nd Amendment Rights, I have only one thing to say . . .

My right to live should always supersede your right to car a gun and shoot me.

With Republicans trying to defund ObamaCare and supporting the NRA,
sadly, I don't believe that's the case.

They don't carry guns to shoot you.
And the rethugs can't stop Obama Care. If the government shut down Obama Care would still be funded. It is written in the law that way.
I want to add, people who own guns are not a homogeneous group and lumping them altogether is neither right or a honest way to debate.

unfortunately, the Zimmerman case proves otherwise.

Of course people who carry guns are not out to shoot me, but get
into a little disagreement with a gun carry abiding citizen gone crazy,
and the possibility of the gun discharging increases.

I will still stand by my statement that the right to live should always be
defended more then the right to bear arms, and it's not!

inference. I do it too. But you said I was right and wrong about the same idea.

The statistics prove it. A gun around the house increases the chance of an accident or suicide by 40%. If a gun is on the street and a bullet is fired at an attacker in a crowd the chances of innocent people being hit accidentally increases. Most people who openly carry a gun have never being in a situation where panic and firing a weapon is involved. It takes a trained and experienced person to stay cool and even a police officer can kill an innocent person. Your fear is valid. Even soldiers in combat fined it difficult to differentiate in a fast moving situation..

amendment trumps all other rights and liberties. Guns rule in the USA.

The only exception to that would be if you were for some reason elect to commit a violent assault against me. But were that the case, your actions would serve to reverse the priority of the respective rights (that is, an aggressor, by dint of their aggressive actions, suborns their right to live to their victim's right of self-defense). Since I can't imagine that you'd be inclined to do such a thing, there is no conflict between our respective rights.

As frustrated as I get with the Democratic Party, one glance "across the aisle" tells me how much worse it can get.
