Grow a beard, dye his hair and be the undercover boss/president. He could find out who all the trouble makers are, what the trouble makers are really up to and shit-can the worst of the worst. He should get their bad attitudes and crazy bullshit on camera and put all their childish, pedantic, antics on world wide TV. Fire the ne'er-do-wells and malcontents each and every one and put somebody in there who wants to serve the public, instead of themselves and the Koch brothers. Put them all on a 40 hour week at minimum wage with any raises based on production of something besides BULLSHIT, subversion and "extortion."

(31,818 posts)We the people arethe boss of ALL of them but only some of us want these insubordinate jerks fired.
At this point they are being insubordinate and not following the instructions we gave them in 2012. How do we get more upper level management on board with getting those who aren't following our rules shit canned?
I've tried my best in NJ 7th but I can get HR on board.

(115,683 posts)The only people he has the power to fire are the people he appointed in the first place. We all know that the real problem children are the dingbats in the teabagger wing of the House - and those morons were elected, which means the president can't "fire" them. He also can't "put them on a 40-hour week at minimum wage." Congressional salaries are not controlled by the president, either. We all hate what's going on but I think we'd hate even more a system where the president has those powers, because the president isn't always going to be our guy.

(115,683 posts)We complained bitterly that Bush was overstepping his constitutional authority as the head of one of three coequal branches of government. So why should we like the same unconstitutional overstepping if Obama does it? And even Bush never went quite as far as you suggest.
