Healthcare.gov is swamped!

Too much traffic is causing the site to have delays, and in some cases just go down with an error message to try later.

Obamacare is so "unpopular with the American people" that too many people are trying to sign up for it at once.

If you try to go there, don't use Chrome. There are some bugs in the code that keep the signup process from working with that browser.

Of course, the software industry is perfectly capable of deploying inadequate systems without any help from bad intentions.

but I know my Tea Turd Gubernor in VA is too busy willing and dealing illegally to do any actual State work. And of course Forced Vaginal Probes had to be a #1 priority above Healthcare for VA

7. It's probably a good idea for most people to wait a couple of weeks.

Even if you sign up today, coverage won't take effect until January 1, 2014. Launch day is a bad day to use websites, generally. There are going to be issues for a couple of weeks.

But, you're right. Millions of Americans are eager to find out how ACA can help them. Almost all will be very happy with what they find. This is the Right Wing Republicans nightmare, actually.

I wasn't given any prices or plans, but it seemed in my state (FL) I get an email notifying me of my options. I used Opera 18 to complete mine.

I understand that they will have people who can talk to you about applying, perhaps helping you figure out the application. Ditto Community Health Centers. I'm terrible with online stuff (my Master's degree doesn't help me one damn bit!). I'd need guidance or ask for computer help from my grandkids...
