By the time of the next Prez election cycle, the ACA will be so successful and accepted into millions of people's lives, no one on the Right will want to credit him with the plan. That won't bother PBO one bit, but whoever we nominate better fly that flag proudly to remind every voter that indeed there is a difference between the parties and which one will look out for the American people.

(38,613 posts)Meanwhile, in states that aren't participating in the exchanges, they'll be busy blaming their crappy health care ON Obamacare, and will offer the exchanges as a republican alternative to it.

Certainly sounds like something they'd do.

(10,942 posts)because Democrats also support the changes. The medical device tax is such a part. Republicans are in good position to get the medical device tax removed, unless the President vetoes that removal. Once republicans make one small change, they are going to attempt to claim credit for getting the whole ACA done AND making it better. All Democrats must realize that the typical republican is a lying sack of shit that can't be trusted to not stab one in the back on a ten yard walk.

They have started dismantling the Voting Rights Act and Roe v Wade.
They never stop attacking things they hate, no matter how popular.
