ProFlowers is never going to drop Limbaugh, they are Limbaugh.
Liberty Media is the single largest shareholder of Murdoch's News Corporation.

(42,714 posts)Not to defend any of them, but Liberty Media traded its stake in News Corp. back to News Corp in exchange for News Corp's controlling share of DirecTV in 2006 or 2007. LIberty Media subsequently spun off DirecTV, which is now a separate, publicly held company.

(83 posts)Apparently, Bill Strauss, CEO for ProFlowers, is either completely tone deaf to the uproar around him, or he has been given marching orders by his parent company, Liberty Media, to stick with Rush till his rating's death!
Send Mr Strauss an email and tell him what you think his company's latest awesome discount promotion, his address is: bstrauss@proflowers.com.
Keep loading him up!

(135,060 posts)I'll be boycotting those as well. I've used red envelope quite a bit, but no more.

(83 posts)I sent Bill Strauss, CEO for ProFlowers, another email this evening to request he reconsider his company's support of Rush Limbaugh. Within five minutes I received this auto-reply message: "Please be advised that I am no longer with Provide Commerce..." Provide Commerce, www.prvd.com, is the parent company of ProFlowers.
Either I got the wrong email, or the boss just left the building!

(27,630 posts)Never used pro flowers. Never will!
I think you get nicer and cheaper flower arrangements if you go online and look up local florists in the city where you are sending them, at least that has been my experience.

(34,458 posts)I emailed them previously and was dissatisfied with their response, so I told them I wouldn't order from them again.
As it happened, I had occasion TODAY to order flowers for a family member.
I did not use ProFlowers.

(1,345 posts)Deleted my payment inforamtion and sent email stating I would be using 800flowers, teleflora or my local florist from now on. I'm sure my measley $200 a year orders won't faze them but made me feel better
