On several outlets, I've heard it reported that he apologized. That's the teaser. That's the headline. His remarks are then repeated, reinforcing his message. But there is no actual coverage of the "apology" itself or mention that it really wasn't an apology.

He doesn't apologize on air, but on his website. And you know his faithful followers will read it there and see that it's not really an apology, merely reiterating his attack and falsehoods. Words chosen? How about the lie that taxpayers, would pay for contraceptives or the idea that anyone who takes the pill is a slut?

Rush gets credit for an apology and he didn't even really apologize, which makes his listeners happy.

What will matter than is what he says on his show or does not say. He may say nothing and refuse to address it or he will repeat his so-called apology and move on.

If he dwells on this matter too much, his ego will take over and he will get in deeper than he is now.

My money is on him putting this thing behind him as quickly as possible and moving as fast as he can forward.
