you could tell by the tone of the apology that he's not really sorry for anything he said!

And on Chris Hayes' show today, they echoed the same sentiment....that he only apologized to stop his sponsors from leaving! I think it was Goldie Taylor who said he would say anything for ratings which equals money! So if he's only saying this because of money, who is the real prostitute?

2. Any real apology has to begin with self-examination and....

an attempt to correct the character flaws that led to the transgression to begin with. I see nothing like that in this apology.

& I do agree with you that any real apology must begin with some kind of self examination. Unfortunately, I don't think Rush is capable of doing anything like that!
