"Newt Gingrich faulted ...wait for it ... the media for its focus on Rush Limbaugh's comments about law student Sandra Fluke as a "slut," a comment he's since apologized for, when asked if he would have used the same language:

"I don't even know that I would have been involved in the conversation," Gingrich told reporters, per POLITICO's Ginger Gibson. "But I will say this, the news media seems far more eager to talk about Rush Limbaugh's language than they are to talk about Barack Obama's apology to the people who are killing Americans. I would rather focus on Barack Obama's apology. He's the president of the United States. He did some things that I think are horrendous and apologizing to people who are killing Americans and I think that's a vastly bigger issue than anything that a radio host says."
