It was a slip of the tongue and could happen to anyone. But it happened to Eric Cantor as he was endorsing Dog on Car on Meet The Press. He was speaking of the primary battles and how he sees Rmoney as the best choice.
The slip of the tongue just slipped out, but it was hilarious.

There is a 15 second ad and then it goes right to the piece. The funny part is right at the start, maybe 5 or 10 seconds in. As soon as they go to a closeup of Cantor.

(67,808 posts)They never showed Stretch's reaction. Cantor knew he said it but moved on like a pro. There was a *very* slight flash of physical reaction, but it was gone in a split second.
The audio was perfectly clear, however. Even if you weren't paying attention, that phrase would catch your ear.
