Romney;s questioning Santorum's competence

Most of us questioned Santorum's competence a long time ago. We already know he's not sane. That's no new angle.

What might be a more important element of that is this:

One of the big deals has always been the "flip-flopper" shit. And that's what it is--shit.

I think that one of the parts of competence is an open mind. When feedback is given, it takes am open mind to change your opinion of something, especially if you have not learned everything necessary about it. This makes you an alive person--a dynamic individual who CAN change your mind if facts warrant it.

OTOH, a person who won't, or can't change their mind is essemtially dead. There is nothing but narrow mindedness, and in effect the death of something greater that makes them human.

It seems to me that once that soaks in, that is no longer a person, but a corpse. There is nothing new entering that person's brain, nothing new, but the same old shit coming out of that person, and no new opinion enlightening us.

As such, it becomes evident that the zombies on the right, especially those who vote/voted for Santorum are as incompetent as he is, and can't be given the right to vote, seeing that incompetent people aren't allowed to vote.

Santorum is most certainly wedded to ideological rigidity that might make him a darling for the low information voters...but dangerous as hell for a world that is in constant change. Romney, OTOH, is not changing his mind when new facts are presented...he changes his mind to fit the venue he's talking to. I have no idea what he really believes. His inability or unwillingness to defend positions that made sensible centrist policy as governor is galling...we don't want a President that can't be decisive when the moment calls for it. I think Santorum and Romney represent the worst extremes of both ends of the spectrum - ideological rigor mortis and complete fluidity in any beliefs.

changing your "position" on a myriad of issues in effort to pander to the voting public smacks of deceit and duplicity. Yes, Romney is a snake in the grass and Unsanitorum doesn't really have a functioning mind, but they are both evil to the core.

Santorum has clearly stated for all to hear what he believes which is truly sickening. Romney has no real belief that is easy to identify other than he seems to enjoy firing people and really likes being wealthy. In addition Romney is a serial liar on the record when it meets his needs. In this day with the ability for almost anyone to search the record, to blatantly make false statements is not competent. It does not matter who is more consistent on core message over time, neither are competent. Pot meet kettle.

Oh The the vulture babe has a beak, dear
And he shows it to his delight
All that money has Mittbleak babe
And when he uses it they never indict

You know when that vulture bites, with his beak, babe
Scarlet billows start to spread
Fancy gloves wears old Mittbleack dear
On his balance sheet, never a trace of red

On the auction block, Monday mornin' dear
lies a company, it's assets ready to strip
And someone's sneakin' round the corner
Could that someone be Mitt the Flip?

There's a cigarette boat, racin' to the Cayman's don'tcha know
With a money bag bulging at its seams
but the heartbreak is in the workmen dear
Who Mitt fired despite their agonizing screams

Now d'ja hear about South Steel Company? It disappeared, dear
After drawin' out all of its
hard earned cash
Now Mittbleak spends like a Koch brother
Could it be our boy's done somethin' rash?

Now old General Motors, and Chrysler Corporation
Sears Roebuck, and Nieman Marcus should frown
Oh the the line forms on the right babe
Now that Mitty's back in town

Look out old Mitty's back!!
