I'm betting Rush gets booted off of Armed Forces Radio before long.

This time the response to his disgusting remarks has been from all corners of the spectrum, not just the left.

He has essentially belittled every woman on earth through his ever-flapping blowhole.

I doubt he can avoid being yanked for good this time.

At least I'm hoping so.....what say thee?

Not like I'm obsessively clicking "refresh" on the petition site or anything.

And I agree it should have been done LONG ago, there must be an explicit strategy, where it is shown to have violated a decency standard or what not (which I believe it should have, although IANAL). Otherwise, the lunatic fringe media will have a field day about "government censorship" and how "Obama silenced the right" and other such temper-tantrums. It will be ugly unless Panetta is willing to say "up you" to them in a technocratic sort of way.

I.e., ALL of the media will rally against it, even with how obscene he has been, unless it is done in a very very detailed, specific way.

Replied here in a similar vein.

It is a safety and liability issue for the chain-of-command and the government. Contributes to an adverse work environment.

if this is what they are exposed to, they are being poisoned against Obama and the good that this administration IS attempting to do.

I can't imagine being there in combat, seeing your fellow soldiers injured and killed, and having it pounded into your head that your government doesn't care about you. It sickens me.

.. but my real problem with Limpballs on Armed Forces Radio is that he is a junkie convicted felon who was later caught with Viagra not prescribed to him on his way to the Dominican Republic ... a notorious pedophile playground.

They tell me Ed Schultz is on AFR, too. If he was a junkie convicted felon with all that baggage, the rightwingnuts would be screaming.
