Waterboarding gets big laughs at Cheney Roast at NY's Plaza

Sorry to be off topic, but these two articles are the original sin: not prosecuting Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, et al for having a million people killed to further their own interests.

http://www.buzzfeed.com/bensmith/waterboarding-is-a-big-joke-at-cheney-roast

"Former Sen. Joe Lieberman “said something to the effect that it’s nice that we’re all here at the Plaza instead of in cages after some war crimes trial,” recalled one person who was there."

And then this:

Plaintiff Sundus Shaker Saleh, an Iraqi single mother and refugee now living in Jordan, filed a complaint in March 2013 in San Francisco federal court alleging that the planning and waging of the war constituted a “crime of aggression” against Iraq, a legal theory that was used by the Nuremberg Tribunal to convict Nazi war criminals after World War II.

"The DOJ claims that in planning and waging the Iraq War, ex-President Bush and key members of his Administration were acting within the legitimate scope of their employment and are thus immune from suit,” chief counsel Inder Comar of Comar Law said.

I am ashamed to have paid for these wars, while these guys have a laugh about it at the Plaza, and Obama,
guarantees them immunity from an Iraqi plaintiff...
This is really hard to take

Why in the hell did no one, and I mean no one, in this world had the balls to arrest them?

It's funny because it's a monstrous war crime! Ya get it? The punch line is we should all be in prison for the rest of our shitty miserable lives for embracing it!

Yep, we ruined a lot of lives and permanently removed ourselves from any sort of moral high ground! Nyuck nyuck nyuck!

But it's hilarious since we got away with it!

Thank you, I'll unfortunately be here forever! Enjoy the freedom fries, and remember to not tip your server, he's a moocher!

Why? Not the waterboarding jokes, that doesn't surprise me. They're sociopaths, and what's a few brown people tortured?

The Obama administration however: why? NGL, I'm bitterly disappointed, I'm beyond anger and yes, I feel we've been played.
Am I glad he's in office rather then the Romney or McCain? Yes, of course. But I believed this criminals would be charged and have to answer to the world.

By the way: is it true Bush Jr. has a warrant out with the Hague? He will be arrested and tried if he steps out of the country?
