Laura Schlessinger retired after repeatedly using the "N" word when speaking to an African American

woman on her radio show. I could not believe her insensitivity and ignorance. The meaning, hurt, and violent history of that word was lost to her. And how that word still conjures painful memories to so many meant nothing - her response was to "get over it" - it's hard to get over a word that symbolizes lynchings, murders, prejudices, discriminations, etc.

When I quite SiriusXM, I specifically cited their hiring of her as the reason.

Meaning you'd have to pay to hear her. And he needs to go too. I personally wouldn't care if he went to satellite.

(I am a SiriusXM. originally XM, subscriber so I can hear some progressive radio that is completely non-existent here in Phillly outside of the sole black radio station)

7. Why? His show is rated TV-MA - Dr. Laura used the "N" word 11 times in a 5 minute rant while

speaking to an African American woman, and her response was something to the effect "Get over it". This was on public radio.
