You have to speak the language.

Words matter. My friendly workplace tea partier isn't a bad guy, just totally delusional. Every time he sees me he tries to get in a dig about the President and the ACA. I've tried to talk facts with him but it's no use. Well, yesterday I had the feeling that the administration was going to get over the tea party on this crisis so when the topic came up I said, "It will be over soon, Obama will crack the whip and make the tea party go back to the fields to pick more cotton." His eyes almost crossed and his head whipped back and forth as he tried to find words to express his outrage. Good thing he wasn't armed at the time.
