confused childhood because of that guy.

My father would always yell out, "JESUS H CHRIST!!!" when he was pissed off.

I wondered who this Jesus guy was, and what the "H" stood for.

Then, came Christmas time and we had to sing Christmas carols in school.

And some of them mentioned this Jesus guy that my father was always yelling at.

If this Jesus guy was so bad my father had to yell at him all the time, then why were we singing about him at Christmas time?

And was Baby Jesus the same Jesus as Jesus H Christ?

Later, when I realized that "Jesus H Christ" was meant to be a swear word, I didn't want to mention his name in Christmas carols for fear I'd get my mouth washed out with soap.

I'm sure all of that had something to do with why I'm an Atheist now.
