Due to the Affordable Care Act, this inexpensive health plan will no longer be offered in Hawaii

This policy only costs $162/month for a 55 year old female and $93/month for a 28 year old female.

This policy only costs $166/month for a 55 year old male and $63/month for a 28 year old male.

Pretty much worthless. You have to be almost dead to get pre-approved for inpatient hospital care. Hoyt Oct 2013 #5

Does it cover anything?
This was a set of rhetorical questions.

Policies like this should not have existed in the first place. This just shows how much the ACA was needed.

Horrible that these types of policies have been allowed to exist. And this is the reason insurance companies have been jacking up prices--to make up for cash cow highly profitable policies like these.

Women are really victimized by this plan. Young women don't even have labor and delivery coverage, yet they pay 50% more than men their age for the coverage they do have.
