Reminders & Other Unimportant stuff

To,morrow morning 11 am I think, Thomas Roberts will have Howard Dean as a guest. Just thought some of you would like to know.

Ann Coulter was on CNN tonight, didn't watch, so I turned on History1, always fascinating, and watched that pretty much all night. Had to take a break from Cruz, the Health Care bill, and general sorrows for a night. Tomorrow the new Alien Series starts. I wish there was a History 2 chat group. There is so much they know now about the universe, and the planets, DNA, etc.. I learned tonight that all of the creatures on earth have the same DNA, and man is the only one who has HAR1.

I have an old computer that I bought for $129.00, and a monitor for $25, both Dell. I decided I wanted to join Seti, belonged about 10 years or so till my pc crashed, and never joined up again.

So I joined in April, the Einstein group. Am a real pest asking stupid questions on the message boards and I thought if I bother them any more, they will "delete" me, and I said so in a message. To my surprise a Forum Moderator answered, and said that, to paraphrase, they would never do that. I am doing amazingly good work and my ranking and ratings go up all the time. I was flabbergasted, but, to think of it, I've always been a good baby-sitter, and that's what crunching tasks on my computer is, babysitting for Seti. I suggest that if any of you are looking for a new cheap interest, give it shot. Seems like they like this old lady and her work... You don't need a fancy computer or need to know what you're doing. Their computer figures out what you have, your memory and how much you can spare, and after that, ask questions in the forum, and you're a Cruncher.

The AFA website has something that annoys me that even the Republicans haven't mentioned. When I go to a site to read it, the damned thing won't stop rolling till it gets to the bottom of the material, then you can use your mouse to control the up&downs of it. Small matter, but it does make me swear sometime.

Beautiful cold windy rainy night. Awesome looking out at it. Just feel bad for the trick or treaters. Only had one family that came in a car - a totally wet mom holding a totally wet with 3 totally wet toddlers. Gave them candy naturally. I didn't have my "candy's not good for you letters" handy.

there are differences in its sequence in humans.

All species have divergent genes. If they didn't they would not be different species.

We have a lot of the pig dna, I think, anyway. They are pretty much hairless, eat anything, and they use pig parts for heart surgery...

We swim like fish, try to fly like birds, etc., but I think the HAR1 gives us singing and making instruments. Most other inventions are for war or housekeeping..

I don't have the foggiest idea of what the numbers and Letters mean, but am catching on to quite a bit. I check it first thing in the morning, during the day, and last thing at night...
