A nationwide discount clothing chain is under fire for producing 'sexist' washing instructions on a label.
On a pair of beige chinos sold by Madhouse, the printed label states the standard washing instructions, which is then followed by 'Or give it to your woman: It's her job.'
The trousers which sparked the fury were purchased in London at Madhouses flagship Oxford Street store last month.

(63,221 posts)i would shred it into little pieces and then tell him if he wants something done right, he should do it himself.
Hell, I don't even do my OWN laundry! I live alone and I accumulate very little laundry thoroughout the week so I take it over to this cheap Chinese wash 'n fold (costs about 6 to 10 dollars - which is pretty much almost what I would pay to do it in my apartment building anyway) and it comes back clean, neat and folded. All i have to do is put it away.

(58,162 posts)they also refused to wash my clothes. so i had my grandmother teach me how and been doing it since. drives my wife crazy but then she remembers that she has`t done either in 40 yrs...
