this is just a reminder that in off year races, people gotta vote. looks like just enough did, so I tip my cap to them for doing it and taking time out of their day to keep out an extremist jerk!

who was less extreme. well, maybe just maybe, the state's voters are not as right wing as y'all think, and frankly, less extreme is not what that party is anymore. In an off year, the Democratic candidate beat a Republican, and considering who normally votes in off years, this is still impressive and says a lot about the GOP Brand (it's stale and out-fuggin-dated!)
