(29,674 posts)And in Missouri we had a man run for the Senate who claimed that women could shut down a rape pregnancy. We also voted for a dead man. (I was in on that one-I adored Carnahan even when I didn't agree with him.)

(40,416 posts)The glorious years of Democrats in KS. We had a majority in the state legislature and three Democratic governors. Al Gore came to Wichita twice during the 1992 presidential season. i shook his hand both times. Then, Dan Glickman lost his 4th Congressional district seat and all hell broke loose.
I moved out of the state due to family issues -- my father got cancer. But the Sedgwick County Democratic Party was the real deal while I lived there.

(67,108 posts)started, houses, everything and got the F out. Kansas might have jobs in eastern Kansas, but it's not worth the destruction TPTB in Kansas try to heap on the citizens.
I was reading another article, don't have the link now, that they have formed some groups to pray the evil out of Kansas, for example, residents of Lawrence. Believe me, Kansas is a really F'ed place and this is from someone that at one time took a considerable interest in Kansas.
Signs should really be hung on all entrances to Kansas saying, "Enter at your own risk!"
