This particular formation may seem like word games but is designed to combat a set of the Texas GOP talking points. The Texas GOP is very upset with Senator Davis because her tactics are working http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251337275

If you look on that thread, you will see that Senator Davis is receiving death threats from the Texas GOP.
