I just donated to and volunteered for Jason Carter's campaign for GA Governor

I've always been a big fan of Jimmy Carter and I've been following Jason Carter in the State Senate.
I think that he is a worthy candidate and that DU should consider helping him out.

Any time Democrats have a chance to win a gubernatorial or senate race, we should all be supportive, especially in the South. We should always be competitive in all states and never accept that there are red states. They should all be blue or purple.

4. I'm afraid that Georgia is classic Red, but

a very good Democratic candidate could win the seat if they work hard and have unprecedented support.
I think it would be helpful to simply join the facebook page for Carter or to volunteer to write a letter to the editor on behalf of the campaign.

Heck, saying a simple prayer might help for all I know.

Anything that you can do would be helpful.
